Abstract :
During the last two decades, the ASEAN countries and Russia have gained considerable experience of constructive cooperation in the political, trade, economic, scientific, technical and, naturally, humanitarian fields. The achieved results paper to be a good basis for further strengthening of mutually beneficial partnership in its entirety. In this respect, the ASEAN-Russia Summit in Sochi on 19-20 May 2016 is called to play an important role. The celebrations feature a number of significant cultural events, including exhibitions of paintings by famous Russian artists in Moscow and Jakarta, which were created during their trios to the ASEAN countries, and the publication of an album of reproductions of these works. The distinguished masters are sharing with us their visions of Southeast Asia, which, just like Russia, is rich in history, original folk traditions and unique natural diversity.
