Abstract :
Thailand began to develop a democratic system of governmet in 1932, when the absolutemonarchy was changed into a constitutional monarchy. Despite the occasional aberration in their economic development, Thai people continue to hold firm to democratic values, are placing greater emphasis on promoting public participation and respect for the rule of law, as well as nurturing the culture of democracy.
