Abstract :
As ASEAN kept moving toward an economically integrated Community with an integrated trading market connected to a global supply chain, total ASEAN trade rose to USD 2,512 billion in 2013 from USD 825 billion in 2003. As a key component of ASEAN economic integration, ASEAN trade in goods has changed in composition and direction over the years with the impacts of these changes varying across countries and sectors. The ASEAN International Merchandise Trade Statistics (IMTS) Yearbook 2014
responds to the need for statistical information on trends and developments essential in formulating trade plans and strategies. With contributions from all ASEAN Member States, this IMTS Yearbook contains comprehensive statistics on ASEAN trade in goods through a ten-year data series (1993 to 2013) highlighting the most recent developments on ASEAN trade. This new addition to the body of ASEAN statistical publications will serve as a useful reference for all data users.
