This module comprises three topics, which provide a background illustrating why Rule of Origin (ROO) exist and where they fit in a Free Trade Agreement (FTA). The first topics provides information on the reasons for concluding an FTA and the content of an FTA. The second topic explains the key concepts in FTA ROOs such as substantial transformation. The third topic provides information on the AANZFTA Sub-Committe on Rules of Origin (SCROO).
