Abstract :
The ASEAN Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Health Certification and Quarantine Measures for the Responsible Movement of Live Food Finfish have been developed to reduce the risk of spread of transboundary diseases of aquatic animals by the movement of Live Food Finfish (LFF).
The SOP has been written to help manage the movement of LFF for immediate consumption as human food. They are proposed to be a model for the subsequent development of SOPs to cover the management of movements of juvenile LFF for rearing and for other fish. Some elements of this document may be appropriate for those SOPs.
