Abstract :
Keep Asia Green aims to provide a general understanding and analysis on past and ongoing forest rehabilitation and restoration efforts in the Asia region. Over the last four years, forest specialists from different sub-regions in Asia have worked together and compiled tropical information on forestry issues with particular interest in forest rehabilitation. The work attempted to identify major issues in forestry including status of forests in Asia, causes of forest degradation as well as achievements in past rehabilitation efforts.
