Abstract :
The period covered by this Annual Report, June 2019 - May 2020, was an exciting time for ASEAN and the Jakarta-based ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC). Various initiatives and activities to boost regional integration and cooperation in political-security, economic integration, and socio-cultural development - all core functions of ASEAN Community continued to be carried out. ASEAN relations with Dialogue Partners, Sectoral Dialogue Partners, Development Partners, and other external parties were further reinforced, thereby ensuring tangible results that significantly complement the ASEAN Community-building efforts.
