Abstract :
The ASEAN-Republic of Korea economic partnership has developed dramatically at a faster speed than ever before. Korea has now emerged as ASEAN fifth largest trading partners, while ASEAN has become Korea second largest trading partner. The value of Korea s cumulative foreign direct investment (FDI) outflows to ASEAN has reached about 120 billion USD. In addition, Korea companies in ASEAN Member States not only has contributed to the local economies through job creation, but also has engaged in various corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. In this vein, the Korea Mission to ASEAN publishes the CSR Practices Book to share and spread CSR activities of Korean companies, based on the results of the ASEAN-Korea CSR Forum held in October 2021.
