Abstract :
The Second Regional Report is a product of the collective effort of ASEAN women coordinating regional cooperation in women's matters. Each of the ASW focal points participated in compiling the report, by providing updated data, reviewing the draft report and providing important and constructive suggestions. The UNIFEM East and South East Asia Office contributed visual profiles of ASEAN women from its record. The ASEAN Committee on Culture and Information supported the publication of the report. the finished product is not only a reference on ASEAN women, but also a concrete example of regional collaboration on an important concern.
