Abstract :
Field Guide of Discovery-based Exercises for Corn Production, which is co-published by Philippine Ginintuang Masaganang Ani- Corn and KASAKALIKASAN Programs, ASEAN IPM Knowledge Network, and SEAMEO Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture. This field guide incorporates FFS experiences in integrated soil management methods enriched by technical experts and specialists on harvest and post-harvest management from DA, NFA, BPHRE, USM, and ASEAN IPM. This field guide can be used to enhance experiential, discovery-based, and participatory learning approaches among corn production training participants. We are hopeful that this practical training tool will be used, adapted, or modified by FFS field trainers in conducting season-long corn production training not only in the Philippines but in other ASEAN countries as well, when and where they judge them to be helpful.
